THE MOVEMENT TOWARD INCLUSIVE EDUCATION TIMELINE

Completed June 2022 at Lesley University

By chronicling the history of educational inclusion/exclusion in the United States, the Movement Toward Inclusive Education timeline tells some of the stories of those who struggled to bring justice to our education system.  Lesley artists contributed pieces representing events in history while the points in time are connected to a website where users can dive into specific moments in this history.  The timeline strives to show a picture of the work that has already been done, to inspire its audience to think about why this is important, and what still needs to be done.
